Yogurt and Health

Yogurt provides a variety of nutrients including protein, calcium, iodine, potassium, phosphorous and vitamin B2.

Protein and calcium both help to build healthy bones in children and, along with phosphorous, they help maintain healthy bones throughout life. Fromage frais is also a source of calcium and protein.

Vitamin B2 contributes to normal energy yielding metabolism through its involvement in the energy release from the food we eat.
